GNS 530 Honeycomb Mount Instructions

To mount Honeycomb mount when purchased with GNS 530 (pre-mounted)
1. Unscrew 4 side screws (2 on each side) from your unit to remove the mount (they are typically
partially unscrewed for you)
2. Unscrew 4 top screws from Honeycomb yoke or throttle
3. Attach the mount to your honeycomb yoke or throttle with the above 4 screws
4. Screw back the 4 side screws (2 on each side) through the mount to your unit.

If you bought mount after the purchase of GNS 530 (separate)

To mount Honeycomb mount:
Prepare your unit
1. Unscrew the 4 screws on the back and remove the back cover
2. Unscrew 4 side screws (2 on each side) from your unit (keep the nuts)
3. Unscrew 2 screws on the bottom close to the front (this will interfere with the hoenycomb
mount screws if not removed)
Secure the mount to the honeycomb
4. Unscrew 4 top screws from Honeycomb yoke or throttle
5. Attach the mount to your honeycomb yoke or throttle with the above 4 screws
Secure the unit to the mount
6. Screw back the 4 side screws (2 on each side) through the mount to your unit.
7. Attaching the nuts from another side might be a little tricky.
Alternative Option
8. Replace two bottom corners with provided nutless corners. They will attach with nuts one the
bottom but do not need nuts on the side (thicker sides)
9. Screw back the 4 side screws (2 on each side) through the mount to your unit.
